ARU Cairo encourages you to use all the support services available and to contact our friendly staff for advice and assistance whenever you need it.

We are here to support you

We understand that an extraordinary education is a holistic one, and we’re committed to providing you with all the help you need to succeed. The Student Support team are on hand to help you throughout your time with us, they look after all of our students needs.

The Student Support team are on hand to offer support with assignments, attendance monitoring, disability support, English language support, learning support, orientation programmes, registration with ARU Cairo, social and sporting activities, student welfare, study skills training and 24/7 emergency assistance.

The Compass Programme

The Compass programme provides holistic support for students considered to be vulnerable by reason of age, mental health, physical health or disability. Students are automatically enrolled if they are u18, or have declared a medical condition that falls under the category of Compass. Self-referral is also an option provided.

Well-being Sessions

As well as support from ARU, students of ARU Cairo are offered well-being drop in sessions with Dr Paul Pattison. Dr Pattison runs the sessions with an open mind and an open ear, giving students the opportunity to discuss any issues or thoughts they may be having – no problem is too small or too serious in these sessions.

Three Blocks Section
As an ARU Cairo student you will receive extra support from the university, but it's important to note that you are sill entitled to everything that ARU have to offer as well.
Whether you aspire to compete at a high level, represent your university, try a new sport or join fitness classes, ARU has something for you.
